Linton Community Food Pantry

A Can Can Make a Difference

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in...I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."   Matthew 25:35, 40

Farmers and Hunters: Beef, pork, and deer may be donated to the Food Pantry.  If you would like to donate, please ask the processing plant to have all meat ground and packaged in one pound packages.

Gardeners:  Fresh garden produce is also accepted.

Each month, an average of over 300 families within the 47441 zip code are helped, including working families having a tough time making ends meet, single parents, grandparents raising grandchildren, widows and widowers juggling medical and food expenses, and many others.  The supplemental food received from the Pantry helps these families by providing food for an extra few days each month.

Do your donations really make a difference?  Absolutely!  God does amazing things no matter how large or how small the donation.

"Dear children, let us not love with words or speech, but with actions and in truth."

1 John 3:18
